Can’t Anything Ever Be Easy On This Computer? (need Quicktime Help!)?

I recently had to run a recovery CD on my computer in a last ditch effort to fix it. Now I’m in the process of having to run updates for everything on what is a 2002 PC. I was having trouble with my Kodak software and when I called them, they told me I needed to make sure I was running the most current version of Quicktime, as their software relies on that. I tried to update Quicktime and it told me I need to upgrade from Windows XP to Windows XP Service Pack 2. I did that and am now trying to update Quicken to version 7. Every time I click on the download button is says “Congratulations. You can now enjoy what millions of MAC and PC users love about Quicktime, blah blah” and goes on to say that the “download will start automatically”, yet nothing happens. What do I do now? And how can I tell what version of Quicktime I’m currently running? I’ve yet to figure that one out. Help. : (

What Is Wrong With My Mac?!?

i am having some serious issues with mac. i have a 12 inch powerbook g4. everytime i try to use word, it pops up with things that say “auto recovery postponed” or something like “there is a problem with the media”..
then sometimes a box, from who knows where, pops up and says “your startup disk is almost full”. i have no idea what this means. my iphoto has not worked for months. i took it in to get it fixed, and they reloaded everything, but it still doesn’t work. it tells me that the iphoto library is damaged. when i click to fix it, it just quits the entire program. i can no longer see pictures through finder. all the pictures are still there, only grayed, so you can’t click them. i have tried deleting word documents, emptying the recycling bin, etc, but it still shows as the documents being on my computer. do macs keep a record of every document every created even if they’re still not on there anymore? i have tried to update software to fix these problems, but it tells me that i don’t have enough memory to download the software. i don’t understand though because i have deleted like everything from my computer to fix the problem!!

Okay,so i have this brother…idk he must be bored or something but he just goes through stuff on the computer that he shouldnt be. settings, defaults etc.
anyway woke up the next day.
all our games…software…GONE
shortcuts are all still there and the list is still in the unistall/change programs list..just the icons are blank… so they coulnt of been uninstalled manulally..
when you go to open them it just says…
the item ” ” that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved so it will no longer work properly.

we have a toshiba….vista home premium.. all that stuff
TRIED SYSTEM RESTORE… no luck. were thinking maybe he got a virus and did a system restore and that erased our system registry or whatever? but who knows really he reckons he did nothing..
toshiba dont give out the disks so who knows how were gonna get all the orignal prgrams and stuff back..
the dvd player, recovery disk maker, adobe, webcam drivers, msn, sims 2 pretty much everything …all stuffed.
i dont know if this matters but everytime we log on it comes up with this error.

NdsLoadString() is Error.
(Not found INI File : (then it leads to a file path going to toshiba in progrm files.)
re-downloading software is out of the question.
think ive covered everything..
sorry abour the longness but i just really want to know how to fix this? or who to tell?
please help.

Windows Xp Product Activation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

download XP on my old gateway with my dell recovery disc. went to activate, it said “exceeded in numbers of time can be used” so i youtube it, and i find a way to make it leave me alone. 30 days later (now!) it wont let me log on! it says “u must activate windows to continue” so i click yes, then it says “windows is already activated, click ok to continue.” so i click yes, then it takes me to the welcome screen and keeps doing the same thing, in the same cycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont no if i can go to microsoft, cause it was my other pcs XP disc, and i went to regedit to make activation go away. the only way i can get to desktop is if i do safe mode. even when im on safe mode at desktop, i cant get on internet because i use a wireless USB, and safe mode doesnt allow wireless usb. what do i do!? download software, burn to a disc, go to safe mode, put disc in, im all betteR? what software is that?????? PLEASEEEEEE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM DESPERATE!!!!!!!! (and supposodly, if it wasnt activated before, then how did i get service pack 3 and internet explorer 7 on it?, because i did!)
