Well, am very new to this software and even I don’t know how it works… Yesterday I spent sometime behind this and ultimately couldn’t decide will I go for it !! Actually this software is free n seems very user swavvy.. providing some of this features like : file/folder lock, website block, website ads lock, crash recovery and some more which is very needy to individuals…
Anyways, I need to secure my PC and I was just looking for this type … but as usual I depend upon your advice … WHAT YOU SAY ?

Are These Antivirus/antiadware Programs Enough?

I learned today that I have adware and perhaps a virus, so I went nuts dowloading software to combat it. I already have Norton Antivirus, but I had not updated it until today. I also downloaded System Mechanic, Spybot – Search & Destroy, and Ad-Aware 2007. Is there anything else you could recommend that is free?

Is There Any Way To Reset The Administrative Password On A Second Hand Computer?

A friend of the family was given a second hand computer. There are three accounts on it–Administrator, An authorized user who doesn’t need a password and also a guest user who can log on as guest but can’t put software or anything else into the computer. The problem is that she wants to put new software on it but can’t because it’s asking for the administrative password and she doesn’t know it. She has no way of getting that password and asked for my help. Is there any way that I can reset that lost password? I’ve read online about starting it in safe made or F8 key but it’s too confusing. It’s a Windows XP system but she wasn’t given any recovery disk. Please help. Also, is there any way of deleting the other previous authorized especially since they no longer own the computer? Please help.

What Is The Best Antivirus?

Is it worth the money to buy an antivirus or is it good enough to just download a free one? (If so, which is the best free one to get?) Also, when you buy one, is there any way to do it without using a credit card? And is it something you download or do they send you a disc with the software or something? Is the BitDefender Antivirus for $24.95 a good one?

Ipod Touch 2g Broke Because Of Hack?

!CAUTION VERY LONG!
Okay, I hacked my iTouch the other day and it was working fine. Then it froze. So I restarted it (apparently you shouldn’t do that when it is hacked.) And then it didnt turn back on. I have tried everything. I tried: restarting it, restoring it, putting it into DFU mode, alot of others. When I plug it into my computer, it says,”One of the USB devices attatched to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows doesn’t recognize it.” When I open up Itunes, it doesn’t do anything. Then I press the home button and the top button and hold them for 10 seconds. Then only hold the home button for 10 more seconds. This is the same process as putting it into DFU mode. It comes up with my hacked iPod and says, “iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes.” Then I click OK. Then I click “Restore”. Next, it says “Software for this iPod is currently unavailable. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.” I think I have the latest version of iTunes but to make sure, I go to apple.com and download it. When I get back, it says the exact same thing,”Software for this iPod is currently unavailable. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.” So, i cannot put it into DFU mode, or restore it, or SHIFT-restore it. Please help me! Should I take it to the apple store even though when you hack it, it gets rid of your warranty. Should I make up a phony excuse and fake cry and make the people at the Apple store feel sad? PLEASE HELP ME!
