Looking For Ideas To Prevent Boredom During Post C Section 6 Weeks?
My last baby was 7 years ago, and during the Holiday’s, I had her nov. 16th, went back to work jan 2nd. But I have nothing really to do this time, and I am going to go stir crazy! I am going to start my job search at like 4 weeks, but what else? I can’t even really exercise! Should I take an online class, like learn a software program like quick books? Read business books? Do you think short slow walks would be ok, my last c section recovery was pretty easy? Any ideas?

Will A Windows Xp Re-install Overwrite My Existing Documents And Settings Folders?
I have run into a bootup problem where I can no longer boot up, but my data looks like it’s still there when viewing in DOS. I have a Dell PC with Windows Media Center Edition. I cannot locate my Media Center/Windows software to re-install, but I do have an XP Professional edition. I have family pictures and movies in the Documents and Settings folder under “All Users\Shared Documents\Pictures”. If I install the XP Professional CD, will it overwrite the data in those folders? I cannot boot into Safe Mode either. I have tried Recovery Console with no success. Please advise, thanks.

Ps3 Problems… Continued?
I bought a used, “working” 60gb Playstation 3 recently. When I got it, I initially used one of the previous accounts left on the system to play Fallout 3. It loaded the game but then froze during the first cutscene. I restarted the system and attempted to load the game but it gave error code “80010514″. I have since restored the PS3 several times attempting to play several games, updating software and firmware and all but nothing has worked. It mostly gives error code “80010514″ and occasionally reports error code “8001002b”. The system does HOWEVER play PS2 games, connect to Playstation Network and allow me to download PS3 game demos which are in fact playable. Has anyone experienced or heard of this issue before?
Some have said that the DVD/PS2 laser reader for the system is functional while the blu-ray/PS3 laser reader is corrupt. Does that sound right? So basically, I just bought a freaking used Playstation 2 for 300 bucks?!?
I’m trying to figure out what my next move should be. The seller swears that it was working before he sent it (I guess he means that it powered on/off or something, bc it sure as heck doesn’t play PS3 games). The seller suggested that I could send it back and he’d “check it out”. What do you think? Should I send it back to the seller and see what he will do to get it working for me, would it be easier just to take it to Play N Trade and have them diagnose/fix it for me or should I just seek a refund via eBay/PayPal Resolution Center? The whole process is moving way too slow and in retrospect, I should’ve bought locally or just bought a new system for an extra hundred bucks. If the blu-ray laser does need replacing, about how much would that cost and would it completely solve the problem? Thank you in advance for any advice given regarding my situation!
PS…I’ve restored the system back to factory settings, I’ve restored the PS3 firmware through the recovery console, and have tried multiple PS3 games.

Please Help Me With My Ipod, Really Stuck?
Hey all,
This is a long story so I’ll just cut to the chase;
Basically I have an iPod Video 30GB 5.5G which has been corrupted/messed up by a faulty firmware using iPod Wizard. Anyway, it’s stuck in a bootloop so it won’t boot into the Apple OS and I can’t restore it as that invovles formatting which will erase everything on it which I haven’t got ecked up on my hard drive. So i’m in a really bad situation.
Is there a way of recovering everything I had? I tried to recover my stuff using Power Data Recovery which found all of my files but when i saved them they all had problems (ie MP3′s/MP4′s etc wouldnt play in VLC). So what am I to do? Could you recommend a software for me to use (preferably free but im not hugely fussy) or a special method. I REALLY don’t want to format my iPod which’ll erase 20+GB worth of music/video’s/picture/fiesl… which I havent got a backup of.

What’s The Best Value Audio Editing Software?
I am putting together a pod cast, and have experience using cool edit pro and adobe audition. I don’t have the access to either of these anymore or the funds to pay for the software. Is there any audio editing programme out there that is good and cheap?! I will be using music so I want to chop and paste all the parts together as a sort of radio show rather than straight talking?

Out Of These 3 Antivirus Programs Below, Which Would You Choose?
I recently changed from McAfee to Kaspersky (MacAfee is a little bit “heavier” and “slower”) but someone told me that having free anti-virus AVG is perfectly alright, then, one software technician recommended NOD 32 which he said was the best among the rest today. If you were to choose, which would you prefer? AVG? Kaspersky? or NOD 32?
