Hi, what does it mean to have portable programs/ software in a usb?
Also you know hiw you download a program and you save it to your computer, can you save it to your usb flash drive, so that when you connect i to another computer it will just start using the program like it woulr in a computer?

Does The Old Version Of My Antivirus Software Will Conflict With The New One?
I just want to try the new version of eset antivirus 4 but i don’t like to remove the old one because when that software trial collapse then i’ll have to remove it.Do you need to remove the old one before replacing it?

How Do I Fix My Pc To Stop It From Crashing?
HELP! My pc randomly crashes about 10 minutes after switching it on. I sometimes wait over an hour to see if it fixes itself but it never does. I’m not even using games or the internet when it happens. In fact a few minutes ago I was trying to copy all my pics to my memory stick in case i lose them all and the pc crashed again. To switch it off I have to hold the power button in until it goes off.
This isn’t the first time this has happened. But other times I have taken my pc to a specialist shop but this time I want to fix it myself to save money and hastle. Is there anyway I can fix it myself (I have tried scanning for viruses but my pc just crashes)? I thought anivirus software was supposed to stop things like this from happening.
Will system restore help or a reboot? And what do the specialists do to fix it, do they reboot it, perhaps I can do what they do.
P.S. I don’t have a recovery disc.

Lets Try Again, Need Help With My Laptop?
Right. My laptop keeps restarting, it just comes up with the windows bit (y’know the bit with the bar accross the bottom (not the taskbar) and black screen when its loading) and it restarts again.
I’ve tried it in safe mode and says something about a corrupt file. And nothing happens from there. IT WON’T BOOT UP IN SAFE MODE. Not shouting, just adding emphasis. Because it wasn’t noted last time.
I’ve tried every option given at start up but nothing seems to work.
I DID HAVE ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE AND EVERYTHING ELSE I NEED FOR SECURITY.
I’ve asked this before, but mainly got told to put anti virus on it, and boot up in safe mode. Sorry if you gave me a decent answer before.
I do have a recovery system CD, but this means starting from scratch.

What’s The Best Value Audio Editing Software?
I am putting together a pod cast, and have experience using cool edit pro and adobe audition. I don’t have the access to either of these anymore or the funds to pay for the software. Is there any audio editing programme out there that is good and cheap?! I will be using music so I want to chop and paste all the parts together as a sort of radio show rather than straight talking?

Which Brokerage Account Is Best For Me?
I have never invested a real money before in stock market/options, etc.
With current economy downturn, I think its a good opportunity (with due care) to get as soon as the economy shows some signs of recovery.
I have considered many popular brokerages (Ameritrade, Scottrade and lesser known ones as well). Currently I am test driving thinkorswim and I like it a lot. What I like in particular is the software, tools within it, and even though I intend to stay clear of risky invesments like forex and options for now, I think it’s a great way to learn about these investment vehicles without the risk. All-in-one platform is also enticing.
Can someone recommend other brokerages and also opinions about thinkorswim, as to whether it would suit me. Reason I ask because, I think many people with little research just go with TV advertised brokers (Ameritrade, Scottrade, etc.) while possibly missing out on better platforms that are considered for pros, while competitive and cheaper than the above
