I stage manage live theater and am looking for some software to run off a laptop that allows me to input all the cues and to run though them with the mouse and it can be changed in real time not after the show when the crew forget what is happening or happened. Don’t want to run sound or lights off it just the cues them selves to keep track of.

I turned my computer of one night before it was properly shut down. When i went to turn it on the next morning i had the error message-
Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
I had a quick search on microsoft and found that i had damaged the windows registry. They gave me step by step instructions to fix it myself. However when i use my windows XP cd to gain access into the recovery console to fix my computer, it asks for my administrator password. It keeps telling me its in correct and i cant gain access! I had a computer security software disc that i used to reset password, but this made no difference. I just keep getting told the password is incorrect!
Does anyone know a way to get around this so i can finally fix my windows registry?! I cant use safe mode on my computer as it wont let me. I use windows xp Media edition on a packard bell computer.

I need to capture an on-screen activity but I don’t know the software to use! I saw my classmate using such but it was a flash-to-video transfer. I need a software that can record the on-screen activities and tranfer it into a movie file. I can see this in T.V. where they show a view of a computer game first hand… Please help…
