Itouch Meltdown: How To Recover My Ipod After The 2.2 Update?

My iPod Touch was working fine until iTunes asked me to update to the new 2.2 software. It sounded like a fine idea. During the download, iTunes said, “Can’t fully load onto this iPod”… Alright, fine. I look at the iPod and it has the picture of the USB with an arrow pointing to an iTunes logo. It wants me to plug it in. I did. iTunes claims that the iPod in is recovery mode and wants me to restore my iPod. My music is scattered on many computers and I don’t want to restore the iPod. What should I do? Do I need a new iPod? Should I take it to the Apple Store? What if restoring it doesn’t solve the problem? Help! I don’t know how much longer I can go without my music!

How Do I Repair Media Center?

i downloaded a registry cleaner to try to fix media center. when i downloaded it , it found 346 errors but it didnt fix them unless i bought the software. i uninstalled it and it corrupted my media center. now when i start my computer or click the icon for media center a pop up window displays “Fatal Execution Engine Error(0x7927f26e). i tried recovery three times.still the same. i have windows XP media center edition 2002 installed on gateway. operating system is SP3. all .NET framework is in place and operating – i think.system wont let me uninstall.NET framework and reinstall it.

Windows Xp Problem, It Wont Start, Please Help?

had a problem with my computer last night and I had to restart it, but when I did, a message would come up that says “We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start succesfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this.
If your computer stopped responding,restarted unexpectally, or was autimatically shut down to protect your files….
and afterwards it gives me 5 options
Safe mode
Safe mode with networking
save mode with commmand prompt
Last known good configfuration
start windows normally
But everytime I choose one it just goes back to the same page saying it couldnt start succesfully…
I really dont want to loose all my files
and i dont think i have a windows xp disc or recovery cd is there any other way without using the cds if u do where can i get windows xp disk

Which Antivirus/security Program Is Better?

I’ve tried AVG…a lot of people say it isn’t that great at picking up viruses, trojans, etc. I’ve tried Avast! antivirus…a lot of people rail on that one as not being very good, either (though it uses a lot less system resources). I have a 90 day trial of Norton Internet Security that has free updates, which came with the software on my computer. I know that Norton is a system resources hog. What do other people use to keep their computer safe from viruses, trojans, etc. for secure online banking and such?

My Computer Is Really Messed Up?

There are a ton of things wrong with it. The first is the pop-ups, which only seem to come up when I’m on the internet. Also, my background has been changed to the white background that says “Active Desktop Recovery”, but when I click restore my active desktop, it tells me that an error has occurred and I have to click “yes” or “no”, but either way it does nothing. When I try to restore my system to an earlier date, none of the dates I’ve been on are highlighted and I can’t click back to any dates to restore. When I try to change my desktop by right clicking and clicking properties, I’m missing the desktop and screensaver tabs.
What kind of virus is it and what’s the best virus protection software to buy?

Video Upload Software From A Minidv Camcorder To A Computer?

I already have all the neccesarty connection cables but the software that came with my camera doesn’t actually capture video it only does pictures. I basically just want to upload to my computer, something that I coudl at least cut in to clips would be nice too. but more than anything just want to upload.
is there any good software out there?
