Ipod Touch 2g . Helpppp?

i tried to jailbreak my ipod touch 2G.. with 2.2.1 firmware.
i used redsnow.
after the jailbreak, the ipod froze on the apple logo.
so i thought i dont want to jailbreak it anymore and i tried to restore it form itunes. now the itunes does recognize an ipod in recovery mode and it tells me to restore it. so when i click restore, it says that
“software for this ipod is currently not available. make sure you have the latest version of itunes and try again”
now i do have the latest version of itunes..
HELLLPPPP> pl. i duno what to do,.. i just want to have a normal ipod. i dun care if it just works without being jailbroken

alrite maybe u need 2 download the original firmware for the ipod. then once u have downloaded it, click restor on itunes but hold shift at the same time, a box will appear and just locate the firmware and click on it, it should work
man i hate to do this to you but their is really nothing that you can do. i hope that things work out in the end. but you cant call apple for the simple reason bring buy doing wat you did you voided the warranty. their really is nothing that you can do. i really do feel for you man i hope that you can restore it later.
You “bricked” your iPod. This means you can’t do anything with it now. Its broken.
