Mp3 Player Help!!! – Plz Help?

hi i have just bought a mp3 player from kmart and its a SANSUI mp3 player model nuber MP3-05 (SIGMATEL 3502),and i have just erased the firmware on it,i think i cant turn it on, when i connect it up to my pc it dusnt reconize it and im sorta stuck, i emailed the manufacturer of the chip and they said
Generally, you need to get the firmware from the device manufacturer AND the updater software that allows you to put the firmware (re-install it) on the device. If you have those ttwo things, the next step is to install this updater software on your machine. After that, you need to place the device in recovery mode. Every device has a different way of entering into recovery mode, but most often it is done by holding down the “play” button, and then turning on the device. Continue to hold down the play button for several seconds after you turn on the device. If it enters recovery mode, then you should be able to update the firmware as before (using the updater)but i dont have the filmware!
