Ipod Touch 2 Gen Jailbreak Gone Bad!!!!!! 10 Points?

so i got this ipod touch from my friend and he said that he tried to jailbreak it and he mess up and now the ipod wont even turn on i put it into recovery mode but everytime i try to restore it it says software for this ipod it still not available and i tried to restore it with an ipsw file but it says the same thing and logs out the ipod from itunes the ipod wont even turn on PLEASE CAN SOME ONE HELP

   UG. iPod are especially nasty when you try to hack/jailbreak them. Here’s what I would do.
   1) Run it out of batteries.
   2) Charge it.
   3) Attempt to Jailbreak it, again with the same process.
   I’d recommend to do that carefully, and reread the installation guide 24 billion times.
   4) If that fails, just keep trying to restore it. Its easier if you keep on trying to fix its firmware and not through iTunes.
   5)If that fails, I really don’t know what to do.

   HOLD SHIFT AND CLICK THE RESTORE BUTTON
   You can search the web for an IPSW file

   this is jsut more proof that jailbreaks jsut arent worth it.
