I have a purchased Mcafee antivirus software but when I run it, it keeps coming up with 0 things detected. However, I am SURE there are viruses on my computer because of its sudden slowness. How can I find/remove viruses? An online scan?

I played Runescape for about 2 years and I love the game and my friend had hacking software and looked up my recovery questions and changed them. I was on vacation when this happened and when i finally found out he hacked my account (he told my friend jake he had hacked my account and jake told me) he went to live with his dad who lived in a different state. I download alot of movies and i usually watch them on Windows Media player.
But i know there are better softwares that you can watch movies on..
Also the quality is much better..

My company distribute a newsletter (as a PDF attachment) weekly to our clients. Right now, we’re just putting their addresses in the “bcc” field. But, it has become a problem lately since a handful of our clients are not getting it. I can’t seem to pinpoint the problem since we’ve been using this method for years and it’s only become a problem in the last month.
All of the bulk mailing service I found online require us to use their templates and we cannot attach our own newsletter. Also, those service are geared towards marketing and we’re not interested in that.
Does anyone know of any good online service or software to distribute PDF newsletters to our clients? Preferably one that will have individual e-mail address show up in the “to” field.

I had windows vista installed on my laptop when i first bought that and it had drive C:\ and D:\ windows vista is in drive C:\ and now i installed windows Xp in drive D:\ So that i have both windows xp and vista on my machine but when i start the laptop it wont give me the option to chose either windows xp or vista and it automaticaly start windows Xp and if i press F8 during Starting It only give me the option to Windows Xp. I really need help and if there is another simple way to install both plz let me know. I can deleat everything and start again but i really heat to do that cuz i have installed too many softwares and if i deleat them i will have to install them all again. Thanks

Last night I was attacked by the XP Antivirus and I managed to get rid of the virus itself this morning. Unfortunately the background which I can’t seem to get rid of on my desktop (it says Warning! Spyware detected on your computer!) but I’ve tried kelly’s korner and basically everything else and I can’t get rid of the background! Also every time I try to go to a website to download a new antivirus software for free, it directs me to a “go-google” website and I can’t seem to get anywhere except for one site selling Cyber Defender (I dont even know if thats legit). What should i do??

Last year, I started doing simple computer support for individuals as a way to bring in some extra money. Basically, I’m the help for those who are pretty much CLUELESS when it comes to computers, Internet, etc. Most of my jobs include basic things as setting up a computer/printer, etc out of the box, downloading updates and installing programs, setting up Internet service, etc. I also do a lot of virus and spyware removal. I usually just charge a base rate or charge by the hour depending.
I would like to get more training/education on things I am not as sure about, but on a basic level like this. Basic systems/hardware/software/recovery/setup stuff. I’ve gotten stuck a couple of times so I just want to know as much as possible on the basic level before I start doing more work (my demand has been increasing).
That being said, where or how could I get this training? Can I get the training in college courses? Or should I take a course elsewhere? Can I get it from certain books?
