What is the best quality dvd ripping software?
it must follow these rules,
the quality must be dvd quality!
the size of the dvd must be no more than 5 gb
IT is free to DOWNLOAD on the internet

Alright, here is the situation. I had spymaxx virus problems, but after running millions of different softwares i got the error messages to go away and i got my desktop picture back.
Now when I run my computer in normal mode I cannot:
Run any internet. It wont even show anything on network connections.
I cannot install some programs, and i cant run some programs, such as AVG. it gives me stupid error codes. Sometimes it will say the administrator doesnt want you to download stuff or watever… but i am the administrator.
The taskbar is one boring grey solid collor and it wont let me change anything at all under prefrences. All i have is windows classic mode
It wont let me run system restore
And last but not least… I do NOT have a windows xp restore cd thing.
If someone can help me out that would be great because right now i feel like crap.

i have a sony handycam dcr dvd103 by its self and need advice on how to transfer the footage to a computer. i have a usb cable that fits it but not the software that goes with it. Is there anyway i can do it without the software or is there some where i can get the software?

the screen is either blue, snowy looking, or turns back off alltogether. the power is on the tower and lights flash on the floopy and cd dirves. I have tried old recovery disks and origional software cd’s in various orders. Nothing seems to change. I took the tower sides off and looked for loose or burnt pieces and cant see anyting except dust. Someone told me it would not be the hard drive because nothing would happen at all if that was the case. It is an old windows 98 computer and not worth investing in execpt my daughter wants a computer and this is all i can afford. What do you think the deal is? Motherboard, processer, hard drive, or what? How do I check.?

My mom is having this battle with me on which software to use to protect our computer. Now since we have had Norton 360 for about a year (we have 6 days left), my mom is saying that we should “Just get a free antivirus program because Norton 360 isnt in our budget right now”.
Would AVG free edition be a good replacement to cover for Norton 360?

After running AVG virus software the results stated that the above files have been changed. My computer has been running way too slow for ages & now I am worried these files may be viruses???
I have a Windows XP recovery disk should I use that – would this wipe all my current loaded software etc?

I bought a legitimate software on DVD and I’ve been trying to make a backup copy but it has copy protection. I’ve been searching but I can only find answers for backing up of DVD movies/videos. I’m using a Mac so if anyone has a Mac programme that’s free and reliable, please advise. Thanks!
