What Audtio Software Do You Recommend For Editing Lectures And / Or Making Podcasts?

I use a digital recorder to record all of my class lectures in college and want to clean the recording up… They’re pretty good but I want to pull out the background shuffling of papers, coughing, air movement. What software product do you recommend? Acid Pro is far too expensive and complicated? Cake Walk Audio Creator seems along the lines of what I need but I prefer to get input first. Audacity for Windows, which I found on CNet seems decent as well… Any recommendations? Remember, this is for use at a consumer level and I don’t need a several hundred dollar product that will create DJ level work. I will get what I pay for and realize that I’m not going to get top notch quality.

Someone Who Is Very Good With Laptops!?

Hello :)
I’m buying a laptop soon, and well, neither my mom or I have ANY idea about laptops. I THINK I found a pretty good one at an okay price but then again I don’t understand most of this, if you could read over it, and tell me if these features are good? I’m looking into good graphics, good memory and hopefully fast. If this isn’t good, please tell me what is good, and what I should look for! Thanks.

Is There Anywhere That Explains How To Run Emulated Software On Psp For People That Arent Technically Minded?

I have just bought a PSP from a well known auction site and it has all the correct firmware(??) etc but I got no idea how to run the emulators!
I have downloaded a c64 and nes one, but neither will work!!
The software on my PSP is 3.90 M33 if that helps?
