I wanna have it go thru, lets say movies, and grab all the pictures of the items. Ebay downloads the thumbnails of the items, and i don’t want that. I want the FULL size picture of the item. Anyone know of ANY software that will do this? If there is no software that can do this, does anyone know how to write a script or macro to have my pc do it?

I have a flash drive (DANE-ELEC USB key) that I bought not too long ago, maybe a few months. I never used to use it THAT much, until now. Over the past couple days, I’ve had to use it very frequently, moving files from computer to computer. Now, all of the sudden it isn’t working. The LED light isn’t lighting up anymore, and it isn’t picked up on my Mac or Dell. I can only assume that I’ve completely worn it out, and now it’s dead.
However, I had a lot of files on the drive that I would like to recover. I’ve heard of sending it to a data recovery company, or downloading software. I haven’t tried anything yet, but I’m wondering if any of those things work? Or if you have any other suggestions?

I am having trouble with the performance of browsing. The thread referred here has lots of information and is a discussion between Microsoft and myself. They believe this is a Yahoo issue. I would like to know if others are having similar issues.

They believe it is an issue with Yahoo. The bottom line is, browsing is extremely slow. I believe there are dropped packets occuring causing TCP retransmissions and error recovery. I believe MS software is not recovering gracefully from these errors. But if packets are getting dropped through yahoo’s network, or packets are out of order, this would effect the performance of my browsing and could possibly be the cause. Comments?

I currently live on disability compensation and wonder whether my life experience would improve if I were to return to the university with the intention of working in the software engineering field from the age of 55 to 75. I am a convicted felon (a drug offense) and am schizophrenic. I have two degrees but very little professional experience. My income is between $25,000 and $30,000. As of lately AVG has been getting stuck on the file ‘D:\Windows\System32\Config\SOFTWARE’ while scanning. the D:\ is the recovery drive.. any way I can fix it so it doesn’t get stuck?
