What Software Can I Use To Create Vector Graphics Like Macintosh Does?

I use a pc and want to create vectore images. but i dont really know what software to use.I actually want to create graphics like the macintosh icons ( slick looking icons )

   All free:http://www.inkscape.org/download/ (Very good for vectored graphics)

   I would advise you try adobe illustrator. Or try that free link above. Adobe illustrator is aimed towards professionals.
