I want to be able to trace someones head and cut it out of a photo to put it in another photos or presentation. I dont want to buy a huge software package like photoshop. Anyone have any ideas?

GIMP sucks, no offense to anyone out there.
PhotoPlus 6.0 is a free program from Serif Software. It’s a Photoshop knockoff, but it’s a GOOD PhotoShop knockoff. And if you know how to use Paint Shop Pro, PhotoDraw, or Photoshop, learning PhotoPlus is a cinch.http://www.freeserifsoftware.com
There is a free one called GIMP. I’m not sure of it’s capabilities, but I’ve seen a few people mention it.
yeah GIMP
Picasa.
If you download the latest version of Adobe Reader… it comes with free photo software. Try it. Otherwise… go to http://www.freewarefiles.com. This is an EXCELLENT source for all the freebies.
