I’m buying a CD with Muslin backgrounds, and need to know what editing software is the most user-friendly (and the best), for taking a subject out of one pic, and transferring them into another (making it look professional). I’ve read that Adobe Elements, Photoshop, or Paintpro, are all good, but which version? I don’t need the latest; just whatever will work, well enough… Thanks!

I think that it all depends on what you are using. I use Adobe Photoshop for just about everything, but you also have a program called Portrait Professional which is really cool when working with portraits. It removes blemishes, scars, and other issues with ease. I also use some other programs to work with the photos like Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
adobe photoshop cs3 is by far the best i use it daily it is professional photo editing software but if you cannot afford it i would use paint shop pro or gimp
There’s about a million out there.. GIMP is free, same with Paint.NET.. both open source.. if you want to buy some check out my source, they have a wide selection of simple cheap packages all the way to Photoshop CS3
No doubt it is photoshop cs3
