is there a software that will teach me how to play guitar while letting me plug my current guitar (black behringer electric guitar) into my computer?

There’s lots of guitar softwares that will show you how to play, but there’s not really one that will correspond to what you’re playing. There are, however, input jacks that allow you to plug your guitar separately into the computer. I use the M-Audio plug-in, all though you can just go to your local guitarcenter and ask for a about 3 dollar little adaptor that allows you to plug your guitar into your microphone inlet.
Some good software to learn guitar:
guitarguru
guitarpro 5.2 (to help you learn songs)
I suggest just going to ultimate-guitar.com and hitting the lessons section and using their forums.
good luck!
