Hi guys! I’ve been recording music lately, and stupidly, I didn’t know the sound files were saved in a folder and the file names were for example Track-01.wav.
I accidently deleted all of the files yesterday, and were only able to retrieve about 50% of them using some recovery softwares.
I used windows SEARCH and I found the tracks but they were in the Local Settings/Temp folder. But instead of ending in wav. they end in “IPK” ex) Track-68.wav.ipk
I can’t do anything with that file.
Is there anyway I can use that “ipk” file and turn it back into a wav.
Because I don’t know what happened, I was only able to retrieve some files but not all of it.
Thank you very much and please reply! I’m desperate for these files right now, I’ve been spending days on them and I stupidly deleted them.
Thank you! (= <3

Sounds to me like a problem that can only be fixed by data recovery software. With data recovery software you can perform a full system search for any files that may have been lost or permanently deleted. The program is completely free to try, simply install it and see what it comes up with. I use this software:

I think the Spotmau PowerSuite 2009 is your best choice.
You can use it to boot up any computer; fix and install Windows; optimize and speed up your system; clean up history and protect privacy; recover data and passwords; partition and format the hard drive; clone and backup your system; and more…
You can see detail and guides here: http://spotmau-powersuite-2009.kooksoft.…
I hope this may help you.
