Windows Xp Start Up Problem,it Load Untill Login Screen,after That It Restarts?

i uninstalled a software.after that only this problem raises.
i used the win xp recovery console mode to fix this problem.(bootcfg).
now i installed another copy to another directory.
how can i fix that coz i needed some installed softwares. no backup copies here. please help me

    Your hard disk may be corrupted at the location of WINLOGON.EXE, if you get into recovery console, type into it, CHKDSK, wait for it to scan the disk then it will attempt to recover the corrupt files, when you restart after that try’s to fix it, it might now work, if not, you can try installing xp again, when you try to install it, it will say you already have xp and give you the option of repairing it, press the button that lets you repair it, it will look like your installing xp from scratch, but its just replacing all of the windows files, just follow the instructions and you may be able to recover most programs(Unless the disk is corrupt, then your doomed)
