Lost Picture’s (please Help)?

I have a Canon PowerShot A410 Digital camera 3.2 mega pixels. I had some very important pictures on here and someone has deleted them from my camera. Is there any way to retrieve those picture’s back from the memory card? I was told I could download ~ Photo Recovery Software – Card Recovery Download, so I did and they told me to select a drive letter which contains my memory card. Then select a destination folder but it could not be on the same C Drive I had to select the first step. I have tried everything but I can not understand what drive to select or what folder to select. Can anyone help me? And can you please explain it to me in a version of English I will understand? I just dont understand a lot of the computer slang and stuff. Thank you so much and i would like to wish everyone a merry merry Christmas.
