Good Free Virus Software Program For Checking Torrents And Other Downloaded Files?
Hi folks! At the moment I have kaspersky 7.0 on my system. I also have spybot search and destroy and I have ad-aware.
I download a few torrents every now and then and also just general things from the net like maps for games or programs like ventrillo and xfire etc.
Everytime I download something I have to do a full scan of my computer because I dont seem to be able to right click a file and click say “Scan with Ad-aware” or Spybot. Kasperky has it but it never turns up anything which is good but I just like to be sure.
Is there a way I can put a shortcut to spybot and adaware in my right click features?
As in when I right click on a folder I can OPEN COPY SCAN WITH KASPERKY etc .. i want to add the other 2 anti virus types to that list.
If not is there any antivirus software I can download that will allow me to do that and also doesnt interfere with kaspersky?

If you download the latest version of spybot search and destroy http://safer-networking.org you’ll find that this has that faclity. [I only found this out yesterday after installing it for a friend] You just right click on the file in question and you’ll see the option to scan with spybot search and destroy.
If you use the kaspersky option this should take seconds and not start a full scan.

Yeah, try AVG Free or Avast!
A lot of the viruses on the internet are on free program crack sites, I got viruses from downloading a crack, but Spybot and AVG erased them.
Avast has a built in P2P scanner; as mentioned above the latest version of Spybot incorporates right click scanning.
