i tried using Recuva – File Recovery software thingie but it didnt work… i got coursework due tomorrow….

How long have you had it?
Generally they only last for about 500 uses so if you’ve had it a while then it might be done.
Yu might have ripped it out of the hub without safely removing it. It’s gone sorry man.
USB does not store anything, it is a type of connection.
