Do You Have To Reformat Memory Stick To Recover?

IF I REFORMAT / FORMAT THE STICK, THE DATA WILL BE LOST RIGHT.
WILL I EVER RETRIEVE THEM USING RECOVERY SOFTWARES??
my memory stick is corrupted.
(sony memory stick duo)
the my reader cannot “read” it.
even the recover softwares cant read it.
do i have to reformat / format the disk
to able to use the recovery program / software to retrieve the files inside the memory stick???
if i refortmat / format the stick. the datas will be lost right.
will i ever recover it using recovery softwares???
is there anyone can ever answer this question!!?!?!?

   If u format it,all will be lost.Most from the recovery software does not work.So,i believe you can’t.RC>>Format>>NTFS
