Fiest of all thank you to all of you who have responded to my earlier SoSs on IT issues. The latest one concerns not being able to open files that I have managed to restore using search and recovery software. The files are JPEGs – when I click on the prorties I’m told the size of the file which range from 1.5mb – 2.5mb but when I double click I’m confronted with a ‘No image avaiable’ message. Can any one tell me whats going on please.?

Sounds like the recovery program has not been able to restore the image file back to what it was before it was deleted. It’s probably corrupt now.
have you turned it off and turned it back on again???
