What Is Some Good Software To Convert Noncopyrighted Dvds To Avi Or Other Video Format?

I have a lot of DVDs that have multiple home videos on each one. I have Roxio DVD Software, but it will only show the first video on each DVD. I want to be able to convert each video on a DVD separately. Any suggestions?
