friends somehow by mistake my important pictures have been deleted but with Data recovery software i was able to get it back … when i open this pictures some file are corrupted .. I had been used difrent data recovery software too. now plx tel me what should i do.. thnks alot plx helpp

    What you got back is what there likely is. Although I would give it a go with other software if you have it.
    The way deleting works is this: A file moved to the recycle bin is still taking up space, it is just marked as inactive. It will stay there until it is deleted on schedule, or manually. Once deleted from there, the file is STILL on the hard drive, completely in tact. The only thing that has been deleted is the reference to that file. This means that the space it took up is marked as free to write on.
    Now, data recovery software uses this to get back deleted items. It hunts for items in space that is free, and brings back what it finds. The thing is, it loses its effectiveness as the time between the deletion, and the time it is run, increases. So the longer you wait, the less likely you are to get back a file (unless you wait while your machine is turned off…).
    Another part of this: When the computer writes in the empty space, it doesn’t write over the entire discarded file, it might just hit parts of it. Meaning, the recovery software may find only what is left of the file. Anything it doesn’t find, is not likely there to be found.

    don’t worry
    use winhex and make image of your hard disk and after that recover your files,hope you will get your picture back soon
    go for winhex,i have done it for police many time,i have catch many fraud with that so you can too

    you should download a free image converter from http://www.brothersoft.com and that should fix the pictures. then download another converter and convert it to its original format. and that should fix your problem.
