I saved a PSD file and it didn’t save properly, now it’s being recognized as a “Type: 0 file” and no program will open it. Is there a PSD recovery software I can use or is there a way to fix it? I worked on the psd for hours and I don’t want to lose the progress.

you can’t. course you save it not complete.
What happens when you try to open it?
Can you right click on the file and select “open as” and see if it gives you an option for the file type?
Otherwise, I think you’re just out of luck. How did you save it? You clicked save and then what? If you didn’t save the file in its native format (PSD), then you had to tell the computer what extension to use to save it.
You can try this software to see if it will recover the file for you. It “says” you can recover 15 type .0 files for free but somewhere along the line it’s going to want you to pay something.http://www.liutilities.com/products/camp…
