When i took a weight training class in high school we determined our one rep max for each exercise and put the info into a computer program and were then able to print a several week workout for how many reps of how much weight for which exercises each day.
Does anyone know of similar software?

No, but checkout bodybuilding.com and goto the supersite link. They have a lot of good workouts, better ones then any piece of software could provide, and some of them are based on your one rep max.
