What’s The Best Way To Get My Idea To A Software Company, Without Them Just Claiming It As Their Own?

I have an idea for a program that I think would be indispensable for any office to to have. However, I don’t have the skill to write it, so I need to know how to go about getting a software company to consider it, without them just claiming it as their own idea and not compensating me in any way.

If I Use The Recovery Disk For My Toshiba Laptop Will It Remove The Virus?

i have a Toshiba laptop. I somehow got a virus which is a Trojan-Spy.Win32.Banker.gez. I have kaspersky internet security. it detected the virus and wouldn’t let me disinfect it, but it did let me delete it so that’s what i did. but i heard that trojans can be hidden and are sometimes non-detectable with internet security software and can get in your system restore data. I dont have much stuff on this laptop so i would love to just start from scratch. i have a recovery disk and i want to use it but will it get rid of the virus for good? and also i wanted to add that i have a linksys router that’s connected to my desktop computer. is it possible for the virus to reach the desktop also and vise versa?

Can I Use My Friend’s System Recovery Disc?

I just got spyware off my computer and I used many anti spyware programs. I’m using windows defender right now but I’m still having issues with my files. Sometimes when I do things like click itunes, clear IE’s cache, or use the search program on my computer, I get a blue screen. It gives some error saying a driver has been over run and it could be a stack – based buffer. I have no idea with that means and I’m sick of this happening. I’ve tried everything, I mean it too. The error told me I should un install any new hard or software. I did all the ones I could remember, still didn’t work. Now I want to do a system recovery. I want everything off my computer expect for all the files needed for it to work properly. I don’t have a windows XP recovery disc because I lost the one my computer came with. My friend has one and he used it on his. It re installed windows XP for his Dell computer. Will it work on my HP computer? I have Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.

How Do You Protect Your Software From Being Downloaded For Free?

I hired a programmer to create a software program for my small biz. I would like to add a download link to my web site and use paypal for payments. How do I protect the software so not just anyone can download it. I’m worried about search engines finding it and returning it in results, and I’m also worried about a user ‘bookmarking’ the webpage and giving the url out to people. Any suggestions appreciated.

Deleted Files: Trying To Recover A .pdb File.?

I accidentally deleted a .pdb file I need, as in completely deleted it. I have used some recovery software to look for it, but they don’t seem to be looking for this file extension at all (not sure). I just deleted the files today, so I am confident they haven’t been overwritten. Does anyone know of any recovery software that will search for this type of file? Thanks.

Windows Xp- Problem After Useing Computer Recovery?

I recently used the computer recovery disc that came with my computer because my computer was slow and unresponsive, and I was advised to do so. I put the CD in and restarted my computer, and ran the system recovery program. I clicked on the options Quick Format and then something like NSFN or something similiar. Now, my computer will not start up. If I turn it on, it runs through most of the start up procedure, then jumps to a menu with the words: “Windows could not start because of an error in the software. Please report this probelm as: load needed DLLs needed for kernal.” I am using another computer to ask this question, but I need my computer back online. I would go to a customer service, but for that I will need to wait several hours and would love if someone on here could offer any assistance. Is there anything I can do?
