Computer Laptop Thief Caught! Potentially Nice Computer Software?

Recently, a laptop thief of a MacBook Pro was caught.

Basically what happens is that when the next time the computer gets on the Internet, it’ll take a picture and send that picture to the Undercover company. This happens, of course, when the person calls in that the laptop is missing. When you buy the software, you get an ID that you can tell the company when your laptop goes missing.
Of course, the computer is subject to having the hard drive removed, but not many thieves are computer literate to realize that.

Is There Software To Calculate The Amount Of Data I Download On The Internet?

I am trying to figure out exactly how much data I download when checking emails and doing normal work tasks online so that I can then use that info to choose the best price plan for international mobile broadband.
Is there a piece of software you can just click go and it will count what data is moving in and out of your router? Maybe windows can do it?

Re Avg Failed Installation After System Recovery?

HI GUYS, I HAD TO USE MY RECOVERY DISKON MY LAPTOP AND ON RELOADING MY AVG SOFTWARE IT WOULDNT COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION, I HAVE A MESSAGE OF THE REPORT 2 SHOW WHICH I WILL AFTER I FINISH THIS QUESTION.
ON TOP OF THIS AVG WOULDNT DELETE EITHER VIA COMPUTERS PROGRAMME FILES WHICH AVG IS IN THERE, YET IS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN IN THE CONTROL PANELS ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMMES PAGE. THIS IS THE MESSAGE I GET AFTER THE INSTALLATION FAILS.

Does Anybody Know How I Can Download And Operate A Free Movie Making/ Video Editing Software For Linux?

I use a linux operating system and I have used Microsoft in the past and used the Movie Maker software. I have a school assignment coming up where I have to film and edit a commercial, but for this I need software that is compatible with the linux operating system. Also, I am broke and my parents refuse to buy anything for this so if possible could anybody recommend a free software.

Why Doesn’t My Pc Recognize My External Hard Drive?

I loaded data onto it, and it was reading and writting fine. I then needed to put a different drive into the enclosure, when I went back to the first drive, it wanted me to format it. When I go into the disk manager, it says that it is totally empty. I used demo hard drive recovery software and the data is there! What can I do to make the data accessible again? I also tried converting the drive to NTFS and it stated the the drive already is. I then tried to do a chkdsk and it came back The drive, path is not valid.
