Free Online Antivirus That Actually Works?

My landlord got a new computer a few months ago, and I’ve been trying to help her with it. She won’t pay for antivirus software (shes on a very limited income), and shes on the net. I’m concerned for the safety of her new computer. Is there a free antivirus program we can download? Or should I save my money and buy something for her from like BestBuy or something? I know that she will get very upset with me if I do buy something, so while she’s away for the weekend, I was gonna try to find something that I can download for her. Any suggestion???

Is There Any Free Software I Can Download To Recover All Data (not Just Scan The Sectors) For My Usb Drive?

I don’t want to have to pay because I really believe there’s free software out there I can use and I am a broke student. I have wav files, doc files and jpg files on there that I had just finished working on. I tried some sites and the closest I got was a software that scanned for free but required payment for recovery. I am not permitted to work in this country so please… I don’t want anyone telling me “pay like we all have to”. I’ld rather not hear your response. Thanks

My Desktop Wont Boot Up And I Cant Seem 2 Remaster My Hdd.?

I have a Packard Bell and after the initial startup screen it goes blank with a blinking cursor in the corner of the screen. This is normal however it hangs at this point and doesn’t get 2 the windows startup. I dont have recovery disks and my software was pre installed when i purchased the machine. I have tried pressing F11 to go to the recovery programme but that doesn’t do anything either. Pls someone help.

I want to backup this state of my computer, the OS and I want it to be bootable.. kind of like a Recovery CD..

My friends and i want to make a song with a sick beat in the backround. Does anyone know of and FREE non-virus software we can download in order to make the song??? This incluse like a electric piano and bass beat in the backround. We at least want a 2 week trial to where we can save our work when the trial is over…
