What Software Should I Use For A Home Media Server?

I have 7 computers. (I have 5 roommates that i rent rooms to). I have over 70000 mp3′s that need to go into a library on the server and as the library on the main server updates, the rest of the computers need to reflect. I tried ITunes……it works OK but it doesn’t meet expectations. I would like to use a UPnP client that will utiize the sharing server of windows media player 11. It says you have to have windows vista on the client computers but i’m sure there is backend software that can also do this as the other computers aren’t ready for windows vista vs my two.

System Recovery For Toshiba A45…?

I have been trying to do a system recovery on my computer. The directions say to press the “C” key while booting and follow the instructions on the screen… but none come up… I’m taken to a blank screen with a text bar that blinks for a while and then starts like normal. I’ve tried pressing F12 to boot through the CD drive, but that doesn’t work either, just does the same as before.
I’ve messed up my computer pretty bad and just want it to be like when it was first bought. I’ve already backed up all the data I want and I have all the discs to download software of only what I need (learned my lesson about all that extra stuff). And I’m using the CD it came with to do recoveries: “TOSHIBA Recovery and Applications/Drivers DVD Satellite A45 Series”
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stopping Pop-up Advertisements. Okay, I Know There’s A Good Free Software To Download That Fixes This.?

I found a free program that finds and removes these pop-up advertisements in an answer on here several months ago….but I didn’t ask the original question, and I don’t have the link anymore….(that computer has since been fried, beyond repair) I am working on my sister’s computer, and her antivirus expired allowing all kinds of popups for more antivirus software and some others that say it’s detected illegal porn on her computer please download to clean it off…..I have installed Norton Total Security, and it has fixed quite a bit of things and has prevented any new popups from coming in, but I can’t get rid of the ones she got while she didn’t have current antivirus……Please if someone knows what that link is to the software that scans for and can delete popup advertisements for FREE, that would be WONDERFUL!!! I really wish I could be more specific ….I have already tried Adaware 2007, and Spybot Search and Destroy….these have not gotten them off.

Help! Software Problem?

I have a hp pavillion a420n desk top and i had to do a system recovery and now i cant acces my c file and i keeps saying sptray is not accessiable and i cant locate my microsoft word it says access denied hp says warranty ran out and plus i have a software problem can anyone tell me how to get my system back to operating properly because i cant open any of my files in my documents or anything but the internet and that isnt working properly either i cant find my original disk that their asking for nor can i find the microsoft office cd it continues to ask for the cd roms and some of them didnt come with my system. PLEASE HELP!
