Help Me Out, Ipod Touch Not Working From The Software Upgrade?

Ok, so I downloaded that thing for $9.95 and it was basically a software upgrade, if you have an iPod touch you know it asks you if you want to upgrade everytime you plug it in to sync it. So yeah, I bought it so I could get games on it and stuff but it ended up restoring my iPod (to original settings, no songs, etc) which was fine so I could get all the new software on it and stuff but now it won’t let me load anything onto it. I can plug it in and it tells me “iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes.” So I’ve been trying to restore it but it won’t let me.
So I click the restore button, and it says it extracts my software previously on it so I can restore it. But then at the bottom of my computer it says “Installing device driver software” and it tells me to locate a device something. Idk but anyway then it tells me it can’t locate whatever it is looking for and tells me to insert the disc that came w/ my apple mobile device. and I dont have that, so what can I do?

  1. Ok. If I were you, I’d send an email to apple and tell them what happened. They should be able to help you out within about 24 hours.
    Good luck!!!! :)
