    U can download avast antivirus, which is very good plus its very light on the pc s it wont go slow on you. I tried AVG, but Avast is so much better. Good luck with your search.

    You could try going to http://www.moneysaving expert.com. They have a section on the best free downloads. They probably also have a forum/discussion board with people talking about their experiences of using them. While you are there you can check out loads of other ways to save yourself some moey.

    I use AVG free antivirus by grisoft – already mentioned here.
    Also, for spyware, I use Spybot Search ‘n’ Destroy. I like the Tools in the Advanced Mode.
    Also I use lavasoft’s AdAware SE
    all 3 are free, and I’ve been using them for years. Very good products.

    its by far the best free antivirus software…….better than most paid 1’s……norton,mcafee, and other popular antiviruses cant hold a candle to AVG……..Avast is another good free 1 but….it uses more of ur comps resources than AVG……enjoy

    lavasoft.com for the spyware, its called adaware, and avg from grisoft.com for the anti virus, both easy to set up and they will find most nasties u encounter

    Try “Avira PE” and “Adaware”, they work for me, both free for personal use.

    Try “AVG” for anti-virus; “Spy bot” for antispyware, another one you might like to have a look at is “ccleaner” for registry cleaning. Good luck.
