Just click you’ll monitor the antivirus yourself in the Security Center Window.
i had the same problem but just follow answer number 1.
If your AVG is working good and updated, then you can disable windows asking for antivirus from control panel.
Answerer 1 is correct – just select that you will monitor yourself in the security center and it will detect AVG as an antivirus.
Dear,
AVG antivirus free version classic detects the virus in whole system with OS Win XP. You shoud get another download from the site http://www.download.com & reinstall it. Or u can switch to the personal edition of that software.
Harshad.
it might be out of date. Right click the AVG icon and select update.
