What Can Be Causing My Computer To Corrupt My Internet Software?

When i am finished using the internet i shut down my computer, on the next time it says that my cpoy of the internet software is corrupted re install. It does it a lot. What is going on with my computer. I am runnng windows 2000.

try to scan your computer for viruses or spywares.. you could google on AVG antivirus and AD AWARE spyware cleaner/anti-spyware..both are for free
installing a firewall might also help after scanning your computer..
reinstalling your windows2000 system might be the last resort.
maybe cable no connect probably
Your question just makes me want to ask you more questions. What internet software are you talking about? Internet Explorer? Your mail application? Firefox?
Also, what does the error message say exactly? Your question is likely to get you a lot of speculative answers and not much useful information. I recommend using very exact descriptions for your future questions when it comes to anything as potentially complicated as a computer.
My only advice is, reinstall the “internet software” in question, as recommended.
