Why Does My Limewire Pro Software Show A Firewall?

I’ve tried to access my Limewire Pro software but it shows a firewall prevention wall next to the connection status. I have set my Norton Software to recognize this and to allow custom limitations for access, but it still will not remove the firewall from Limewire.
What more can I do?

   Are you behind a router? This will be detected as a firewall because essentially it is a hardware firewall if it uses Network Address Translation.
   You will need to port forward the limewire listening port to enable better data transmission.
