I was just given a PDA from 2002 that has barely been used. I know that the Handspring brand no longer exsists, but is there still anywhere to aquire software for it?

Handspring was a PalmOS unit. You can download Palm software lots of places: PalmGear, freewarePalm, download.com, tucows, etc.
ebay
try using peer to peer programs like Bit Torrent….
Google is your friendhttp://handspring.pdatopsoft.com/
Go to PalmGear at http://www.palmgear.com
HandSpring is just another Palm; they are likely Palm OS 3.5 just find Palm programs.
Try EBay. Have found 1 item i was looking for that was only found on eBay. Good luck
