I just got an mp3 player (from ebay, so no instructions) and Im wondering do i need a specific software to download music to it? I’ve got Windows Media and Nero, will one of those do it? If not, where would I get the necessary software?

you should have had a lead come with it to plug into your computer, if u did plug it all in and the instruction’s should come up on the screen. if they do and you want to download music using the Internet a excellent site to use is lime wire that’s where i get all my music from. good luck
Well if you plug-in your MP3 player into your computer it should show up as a separate drive on your “MY COMPUTER” section. Then you can simply drag and drop or copy and paste your mp3 files into the player. Also you need to see where to put the files for your player to see and play them. If you do not see your MP3 player as a separate drive I would go to the manufacturer’s website and see if they have any drivers for your MP3 player. Once you install the drivers you should be able to put your songs onto the player. I think Windows Media player may be helpful for you but not Nero.
Good Luck!!!
