A lot of built-in features of my OS(Win. XP Pro. SP2),e.g.Help & Support, are not working due to some missing files.I know only some files that I have deleted. So,how can I restore all the lost files? My recycle bin is empty & as I don’t know the name of all the files I can’t use the data recovery softwares. So,what do I need to do now?Do I need to re-install the OS again or is there any easier way to repair the OS & restore the lost files. Please guide!!
Thanks in advance

U need to replace them.
Just insert ur windows Xp CD and then goto start menu-run- and type sfc/scannow
it will automatically search for unavailable neccessary files and replace them,
good luck.
I think a system restore will do the trick… find it in the start menu… programs… accessories… system tools… Good luck hun! xx
