I use CamStudio.
It is free and easy to use. All you need to do is start recording it minimizes to your system tray so it is hidden and you can start doing tutorials. It supports mouse gestures, voice recording, screen annotations and converts them also to flash if you wanted to.
Like I said its a great software and for free, I don’t see why you wouldn’t want anything else.
After when you have created the tutorial, you can crop it and add effects to it by using Windows Movie Maker. You can also save it in different file formats too, by opening the files in Movie Maker.
Hope I’ve helped!

windows movie maker is used. Also many people use screen recorders. A very good on is Camtasia, it includes a screen recorder and very good video editor, it does cost quite a bit though. You should just search free screen recorder on google, there will be many different ones.
I like to use Jing and DebugMode Wink depending on my needs.
