nope it wont work.. the recovery disc kinda only recognises the fujitsu laptop only..
i had tried it before..i lent my fujitsu recovery disc for my laptop to my frn and he said he was unable to install windows from there
though i guess it wouldnt hurt to try it out cuz i dont know if things changed or not..
Yes you proably can, but you will need the genuine XP Serial number to activate it (Not the one that came with your Fujitsu)
No
The Windows XP that came with your Fijitsu is “Locked” to it
If you can install it on another computer (unlikely) it will run until the 30 day activation is required.
After this is will not run
depends on the type of recovery disc
some access data from a hidden partition on the system (hard drive )
in this case it will not work
some do not
these discs might work but you will have to download the drivers software for the mobo and sound card
No the Windows XP Recovery Disc that you have is for your original Laptop , and can be legitimately used for that only. The recent one that that you bought (2nd hand) should also come with a disc. But if you install the first Win XP on the 2nd laptop then it is not legal.
you should not use it becase it won,t regester on that PC
Maybe your recovery disc won’t work ’cause your new second hand Pentium 3 laptop doesn’t have the same hardwares that your Fujitsu PC. But you can try. For me, It won’t work, sorry.
You should have no issues installing windows, but you are not likely to be able download windows updates or possibly activate the software, which will render it useless in 30 days.
you need an activation crack to get round this, but of course this is illegal and i would never suggest you use one
it should work but you may not be able to validate the copy so it wont update
You can but your not supposed to. It is actually illegal because otherwise nobody would ever buy windows software again *cough* Yes just use it *cough*
