I dont have money to renew the subscription and now i intend to download the free avira antivirus software. Is it possible to do so? If yes, how to do it?

Get rid of Mcafee and go to http://www.grisoft.com and download the free version of AVG antivirus. It’s a great program.
Yes you can download free antivirus software, though AVG is the best free antivirus. You will need to uninstall your old antivirus first.
go and get avg its free and great updates and its very user friendly
google “google pack” to get nrton antivirus 2005 for free
add remove programs, get rid of Mcafee, download and install avg antivirus free, it is great, free, and updates itself
I would recommend getting the software, but buy it in the store, so that way if your computer crashes, you can re-install it. if you’re on dsl, it’s worth it. dial-up, it’s not as important
AVG is also another good one, I have a Dell as well and AVG works great
go to http://www.grisoft.com and download the free version of AVG.
It is an excellent antiviral product, free for non-commercial use.
You should also get adaware SE from http://www.lavasoft.com and spybot s&d from say download.com
well, you can renew your subscription but it will cost about 30 dollars. i would recomend to unistall from your laptop. and intanll avg untivirus. its a good one and its free. u can download it from. download.com look for the free one.
