Bluecoat is an enterprise solution provider that we use at work. It is great they offer a free product like K9 for parents
Hopefully you have Windows Vista Installed?
If so create an account just for the children, set this to Limited account’
Now set parental controls, from here you can decide what time’s they would be allowed to use the pc.
Also set there age limit which automatically filters content related to the set age.
Also decide can they download?
Also allows Administrator (You) to view an activity report of when and what your children used + viewed while on the pc.
To my knowledge its better than any third party software
Can’t you just block certain sites containing certain words?
I’d recommend a program called Safe Eyes. (www.safeeyes.com).
It can’t be disabled because it goes on automatically when you try to access the internet.
You have a username and password and must sign in before you can use the internet.
Have a look at the website and see what you think.
buy norton 360 and subscribe to it
you can get there parental control add on then and the full internet security will protect the computer
