Pictures Got Corrupted. There Must Be Some Way Of Bringing Them Back To Life Again, Right?

I mistakenly deleted a few important pictures from my PC and later on, realizing I had deleted the pictures (when I tried to find them), I used a recovery software to recover them. The pictures were recovered but they are not opening. Any error message keeps telling me “Corrup file header…”. This means the format of the picture is not clear to the PC. To correct those pictures, according to me, I have to correct the header file of the picture. But when I opened it with notepad all I could see was a maze of un-understandable characters. So, I just could not know WHAT part of the file had got corrupted and what to replace that part WITH.
I BELIEVE there must be SOME way of making those pics to work again. I can put as much efforts as required if they would only result into success.
Someone please help me. Those pictures are too important for me!

   I know that when a deleted fiel is recoverd, you need to fix the name of the file. A lot of times the first letter of the file is a “?” when it is deleted/recovered, so you rename it to something else. Don’t rename the .jpg or .bmp part! Just the letters before it.
