   Vista comes with one Free and Great Firewall.
   The only difference between it any aftermarket firewall, is that…
   a) it will be really easy to accidentally block programs you want to be able to access the internet, with an aftermarket firewall
   b) an aftermarket firewall will notify you continually of each and every program (valid or not) that wants access to the internet. Considering that most of the programs are valid, this means you will be constantly bothered to allow valid programs access.
   Feel safe and sound. The Vista Firewall blocks as well as any aftermarket Firewall.
