What Is The Best Software To Get Dvd/movies On My Itouch?

I have XP. I was going to download quicktime pro but the reviews were not good. Anyone know of a good software (free prefferably but will pay) that will allow me to rip my DVD, turn into mp4 and put in my itunes to upload to my itouch? Thanks!

   Handbrake is free and works for me.
   Just google it and don´t follow any commercial links.
