   you cant it is ether a partition on the hard drive on on a cd if you have the xp install cd and the drivers cd you can reinstall windows with that
   if you have a restore partition on the laptop i thank you have to hold the Fn key down and rabidly tap f11 till is go’s to the restore screen
   if you dont got the cd’s for your computer you can contact the manufacture of the laptop and see if you can get copy’s of the recovery cd’s
