    you have several alternatives (you can google “powerpoint alternatives”)
    but among them you have :
    - Open Office Impress (free and open source) which have the almost the same functionnalities than poweroint
    -if you are a mac user, there is Keynotes whiwh is really good for doing presentation
    - you also have some free online presentation tools like Google presentation (included in Google doc)

    try open office its free and has a lot of the functionality of MS Office including making presentations.

    not really… is your powerpoint 2003? If so upgrade it to 2007, its very good.

    if you dont want to use office softwares then try Slides Softwares/ . google it/.
