How Do I Transfer Software From Computer To Sidekick 2008 Using A Usb Cord?

I have a sidekick 2008 and I have having difficulty with transferring software from computer to sidekick 2008 using the USB cord. The manual is too vague and Im not truly understanding. I do see where the cord is showing up in the removable disk on my computer but what do I do after I locate it. How do I start the download.

    It’s not possible to install software on your Sidekick via USB. You can put themes, pictures, videos and etc.

    Music & picture files can be placed any where on the SD card but if you want to use the pictures as key guard (screen saver) they should be placed on the DCIM folder.
